Former Member of Parliament for Manso Nkwanta, Hon. George Obeng Takyi, has expressed confidence in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) continued popularity among Ghanaians, following the just-ended National Delegates Conference.
Speaking on ‘Pure Morning Drive’ with Kwame Adinkra on Monday, Mr. Obeng Takyi described the just ended NPP’s delegates conference as “peaceful, well-organized, and a masterclass in party coordination.” He said the unity, love, and cooperation displayed at the event were clear signs that the NPP still enjoys strong support across the country.
“The conference clearly demonstrated that Ghanaians still love the NPP,” he stated.
He emphasized that the gathering of over 5,500 delegates from all regions was a powerful reminder that the party remains vibrant, purposeful, and ready for renewal.
“As we rebuild, we must do so not in fear, but with faith in our people, our values, and our collective vision for a Ghana that thrives through progress in every sector,” he added.
Mr. Obeng Takyi further urged party members and executives to stay focused, humble, and committed to the party’s core principles.
“If we uphold these values, we will earn the trust of the people and stand a strong chance of winning the next general elections.”
He called on the leadership to work in alignment with the NPP’s constitution and ideology to position the party as a formidable force going into 2028.
