The campaign team of Dr. Bryan Acheampong, led by its articulate spokesperson, Eric Amoako Twum, has expressed strong optimism about an emphatic victory in the upcoming New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primaries scheduled for January 31, 2026.
Addressing the media in Kumasi, Mr. Twum stated that the campaign trail across the country has revealed overwhelming support for Dr. Acheampong, whose message of party unity, discipline, and grassroots empowerment has deeply resonated with delegates.
According to him, delegates have bought into Dr. Acheampong’s bold vision to reposition the NPP as a cohesive, disciplined, and development-focused party ready to deliver progress to Ghanaians.
“The delegates have received Dr. Bryan Acheampong’s message wholeheartedly. His focus on restoring discipline within the party, promoting unity, and empowering the grassroots reflects exactly what the NPP needs at this point in its history,” Mr. Twum emphasized.
He further highlighted Dr. Acheampong’s track record as a man of action and results – citing his massive private investment in constructing an airport with the world’s longest runway at Kwahu in the Eastern Region as proof of his unmatched commitment to infrastructure development and national transformation.
Mr. Twum added that Dr. Acheampong’s agenda extends beyond infrastructure to include national security, food security, and strategic empowerment of the party’s grassroots through intentional resource allocation to strengthen operations at the constituency level.
“Dr. Acheampong’s vision is practical and achievable. He has shown through his own life and projects that leadership must be about impact. The delegates have seen this and are ready to give him the nod,” he remarked.
The campaign team is confident that Dr. Acheampong is the NPP’s best bet to secure victory in the 2028 general elections, describing him as the candidate with both the vision and the credibility to win national confidence and deliver effective governance.
Mr. Twum urged delegates who are yet to decide to rally behind Dr. Acheampong’s unifying message and join what he described as “a movement for renewal, discipline, and development” within the NPP.
“We are confident that come January 31, 2026, the delegates will endorse a leader who embodies the true spirit of the NPP – a man who delivers, unites, and inspires,” he concluded.
Dr. Bryan Acheampong, a successful entrepreneur, legislator, and former Minister for Food and Agriculture, Interior and National Security, continues to emerge as one of the strongest contenders in the NPP’s flagbearer race.
As the race gathers momentum, political watchers note that Dr. Acheampong’s campaign continues to win admiration for its strategic organisation, message clarity and strong grassroots engagement, positioning him as one of the most formidable contenders in the NPP’s flag-bearer contest.
