Kokofu Appeals to Ashantis: “Vote for Bawumia”
In a recent interview on Pure FM, Stephen Kokofu, Senior Campaign Aide for the NPP and former CEO of the EPA, made a heartfelt appeal to the Ashanti Region, urging them to support Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the 2024 elections. He emphasized the region’s vital role in securing a win for the NPP.
Kokofu highlighted Bawumia’s achievements, from digitalizing Ghana’s economy to his commitment to job creation and infrastructure improvements, which promise direct benefits to the Ashanti Region. He reminded Ashantis of their historical loyalty to the NPP, calling for unity to make history by electing Ghana’s first non-Akan president.
Kokofu’s message reflects the NPP’s strategy to energize its base in the Ashanti Region and rally support for Dr. Bawumia. With the 2024 elections approaching, Kokofu’s appeal is a call to action for Ashantis to come together and help make history by electing Bawumia as Ghana’s next president.
