We Expect At Least 80% Votes from Ashanti – Hon. Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu

The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Member of Parliament for the Suame Constituency, Hon. Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, has shared his optimism about the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) chances in the upcoming elections. Speaking passionately on Pure FM’s Biggest Breakfast Show, he expressed confidence that the party would secure a commanding 80% of votes from the Ashanti Region, a notable increase from their 76% in the last election.
The Ashanti Region, known as the NPP’s stronghold, has always played a vital role in the party’s electoral victories. Hon. Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu stressed that the NPP is working tirelessly to deepen its connection with the region’s electorate. He attributed the expected boost in voter support to the party’s performance in government, particularly in areas like infrastructure development, healthcare, education, and job creation.
“In the last election, Ashanti gave us 76% of the votes, and we are grateful for that. This year, we are aiming for at least 80%, and we are putting in the work to make it happen,” he stated confidently during the interview.
He went on to highlight the NPP government’s developmental initiatives, which he believes have cemented the loyalty of the people of Ashanti. According to him, these achievements are a testament to the party’s commitment to improving lives and addressing the pressing needs of Ghanaians.
As the election season gathers momentum, Hon. Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu also reiterated his certainty about the NPP’s overall victory. He pointed to the party’s strong track record under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as evidence of why voters will continue to support the NPP.
